Magneton appear to be three [[Magnemite]] being linked together by a strong magnetic force, although a single Magnemite can evolve by itself when no other Magnemite are in the area. Two of the screws are absent, one from each of the lower Magnemite. Magneton behave similarly to their pre-evolution, Magnemite, in that they generally do not annoy people and keep to themselves unless provoked. If they are provoked, however, they will resort to non-damaging moves, but will not hesitate to use more powerful moves if still not left alone. After making a harsh [[Metal Sound]], Pokémon and people will usually leave a Magneton alone.

Description

Magneton appear to be three Magnemite being linked together by a strong magnetic force, although a single Magnemite can evolve by itself when no other Magnemite are in the area. After making a harsh Metal Sound, Pokémon and people will usually leave a Magneton alone.

Trivia

  • Magneton seems to be formed by three of the Pokémon it evolves from (Three Magnemite put together have the appearance of one Magneton). It shares the same trait with Dugtrio.
  • Magnemite and Magneton are the only Steel-types in PTD.
  • Magneton, along with it's pre-evolution, have a unique type combination: a type combination that no other Pokemon shares with it.
    • Because of that, it has the most resistances and only normally damaged to water.
